I'm getting framerate hitching during team attacks and levelups, I suspect anything that animates a transparent sprite over another transparent sprite is the culprit here. Cutscenes and large portraits are sharp and bright though. Sprite filtering still limited to nearest neighbor/bilinear/bicubic. Most people probably turned those off when D1 launched but they did fix the performance hit for most of them. They didn't bother with the graphical enhancements that got a mixed reception from D1 (SSAO, normal maps, vignette blur, high res shadows, DoF).
